Becoming a Paediatric Nephrologist

Training is through the Royal Australian College of Physicians pathway. See their website for more details about training with the RACP.

The program is over 3 years following the completion of basic physician training. Trainees are required to train in at least two centres. It is possible to include training at international centres, provided approval is obtained prospectively.

Contact  RACP directly or ANZPNA if you require details of the respective paediatric nephrology representatives on the RACP Nephrology Advanced Training Committees for Australia and New Zealand respectively to discuss training in further detail or obtain more information regarding suitable training positions.
